Monte Alban Silver Tequila is an ultra-smooth spirit distilled from 100% blue agave sourced from the Tequila Valley and the Region de Los Altos de Jalisco in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The unique blend of agave from these two distinctive geographic regions imparts the tequila with herbal characteristics. The agave is cooked within 36 hours of harvest to ensure quality, and the tequila undergoes a double distillation process in traditional alembics, where the steam never contacts the fermented agave juice. This careful process results in a tequila that, after distillation, is stored in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling. It presents an aroma of fresh agave with hints of spices and a range of herbal notes.
