Rio is a straight bourbon whiskey from Penelope that is part of the Cooper Series, which pairs Penelope with unique casks from around the world. It is inspired by Brazil and has a double cask finish of American honey and Brazilian oak. Rio is 98 proof, non chill-filtered, and aged for 4–6 years. It has aromas of honeysuckle, raisin, coffee cake, and ripe banana, and a palate dominated by cinnamon and spicy flavors like rum raisin ice cream and Big Red gum.
